Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy
EMDR Therapy

EMDR is a treatment model that addresses present, past, and even future concerns. It uses eye movement (similar to REM when we sleep) and other bilateral brain stimulation techniques to resolve painful experiences and feelings.
EMDR focuses on Adaptive Information Processing (AIP), a natural function of the brain that helps us to use helpful and important information and let go of things that are no longer productive. AIP helps us to develop emotionally and experience healing, empowerment, and wholeness. EMDR catalyzes this effective tool, and clients are often able to find relief and positive change in as few as 6-12 sessions.
Many of our licensed therapists are trained in EMDR and can help you to explore how EMDR may benefit your treatment.
