I decided to become a counselor because I love seeing people make positive life change. It is an honor to watch the progress that is made during therapy when clients decide to put in the hard work. My favorite thing about therapy is the unique collaboration it takes. In many facets of life, when a problem arises, you hire a contractor or a practitioner to fix it for you. Therapy is different. My job is to create a safe, secure environment where we can explore the problems you’re facing and work together to identify how you would like to address them, and what you ultimately want. You create the change you seek with your decisions outside of sessions, based on the work we do within them. How gratifying is that?

I use a person-centered approach, along with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Relational Life Therapy (RLT) among others. I love working with couples and those going through relationship challenges, seniors, young adults, or anyone who wants to create positive change in their life.
